WELCOME

On behalf of our church family, we extend a warm welcome to West Newbury Congregational Church. We believe you will find us to be a church family that is serious about our relationship to Christ and about our desire to love others as Christ has loved us. (John 13:35)

We believe that every person must be nurtured in their Christian faith. (Ephesians 4:13) As a result, we seek to provide various opportunities for Christian growth. We offer Sunday School classes for all ages, Men's and Women's fellowship groups, prayer and praise services and special seasonal programs that help our members to mature in their Christian faith.

We also believe that Jesus has called us to follow his example of loving service. Every Christian has been given a spiritual gift which needs to be recognized, developed and used for God's glory. (I Corinthians 12:12-27) Our desire is to help every Christian believer discover their role in the family of Christ. If you choose to join our fellowship, we will help you find fulfillment in God's service.

Finally, we are called to be a witness for the Lord. (Matthew 28:18-20) We seek to provide opportunities to reach out to our neighbors, our community and our world through our outreach and mission ministries.

MINISTRY... Begins with Worship...
Sunday Worship: 10:00 a.m. (second Sunday of September through second Sunday of June)
                           (Summer Worship at 9:30 a.m.)

WORSHIP... There is no other experience that more defines this church than worship. We believe that all ministry and service arises out of sincere and regular worship.
Though we are united weekly in one worship service, within that can be found a vast diversity of musical and worship experiences. In any given month there is something to lift the heart of worshippers into God's presence.

CHILDREN... We love children in worship! And it shows in all other areas of church life as well. During the worship service, children sit with parents through the "Children's Moment," after which Nursery care and Sunday School are offered.

COMMUNION... The observance of The Lord's Supper, or Communion, is offered the first Sunday of each month and is open to all believers.

GROWING AS DISCIPLES

We seek to provide opportunities to all ages to grow in their knowledge of God and in their living as disciples of Jesus Christ. New short-term and long?term learning opportunities are forming regularly. All are encouraged to participate. Contact the church for details.
